BILLBOARDS

In collaboration with curator Susan Reynolds and others, I arranged to place soldier billboards and banners in ten American cities. At that time when war was still popular, we thought these images belonged outside a gallery setting. We wanted to steer the conversation away from the politics and consider the plight of America's young soldiers in harm’s way.
